Meet my family!
Teresa with her parents, Frank & Elisa Berger, and brother, Andrew Berger.
Ready to dance! April 2006
Elisa, began dancing in the 70's with her parents. Then Frank & Elisa danced in the 90's after college in Indianapolis, IN. They danced until Teresa & Andrew were born. In 2004, Frank and Elisa started dancing again in South Bend, IN. After about a year of dragging Teresa and Andrew along to watch, it was time to get them lessons as they wanted to dance too. In the fall of 2005 Teresa and Andrew began square dance lessons. Their first dance as new dancers was January 2006 and the rest is history. In June of 2010, Teresa and Andrew took up calling. The club caller Jim Pacholke would let them do one singing call at each dance and then finally a tip of their own. With the support of the Star Righters Square Dance Club in Michigan City, IN, Teresa and Andrew had the opportunity to practice and improve their calling skills by hosting their own practice calling night once a month. In October 2011 they started their first square dance lessons and have taught several classes since.
