I had a fantastic time at the Indiana Square and Round Dance Convention!
Friday night started out with a great dance by featured caller Tom Miller. The theme was "Back to the 50's" and I love seeing so many people dressed in 50's attire! Saturday was full with square and round dancing at all levels, workshops, competition, education sessions, and more! Finally we ended a packed weekend with the Sunday morning Gospel Finale! The Indiana Convention is one of my favorite times of the year because I get to see so many good friends in one place! Join us next year in French Lick for our 30th Convention - November 8, 9 & 10, 2019!

It’s been awhile since the whole gang has been together for a square dance but this weekend we all made it up to Wisconsin for the WIPAC weekend! Andrew and I were both honored to be asked to call! You can hear one of our tips on this Facebook live video. A special thanks to Mom for the video.

More than 3,100 dancers attended the 67th National Square Dance Convention in Kansas City, MO. I was one of those lucky dancers! The Convention offers a variety of programming for attendees including squares, rounds, lines, contra, education panels, seminars, sewing clinics, and plenty of opportunities for networking with attendees from around the world! We danced from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM Thursday through Saturday and had an absolute blast! I had so much fun seeing old friends and making new ones too! I've posted a short slideshow below. Super thanks to Eric Henerlau for taking the video! ☺

| I had a blast calling and dancing at the Wisconsin State Square & Round Dance Convention. This was my first time calling and dancing in Wisconsin and I felt very welcome! So glad Mom and Dad let me tag along on their trip! This weekend was especially memorable as this was my first time calling with a live band! Shout out to the Siegmann family for providing outstanding live music for the Inspiration hour and during the last hour of dancing! We had a great time calling at Scatter 8's in Bluffton, IN for their New Year's Eve Dance. The night was filled with great food, dancing, games, and people! Thanks to Scatter 8's for having us and to all the dancers who made the night so much fun!

We just got back from another fun-filled weekend at the Indiana State Square Dance Convention in French Lick, IN. Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to put together a great event! Our family had a lot to celebrate in the past 6 months! |  To celebrate all of our achievements, we threw a party! We were honored to have so many family and friends come out to celebrate with us. And what party would be complete without a square dance? Thanks to Tom Davis for the squares (Teresa and Andrew wanted to dance too!) and Pat Bryant for the rounds. And a special thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate & dance with us! We had a great time! |
We tried something new this fall and hosted 2 sets of lessons on Sunday afternoons. We had a new Mainstream class as well as a Plus class for a total of 14 graduates! We are very proud of our new Mainstream and Plus dancers! Thanks to our angels who came out each week to fill our squares and help us out!

We had a fun weekend at the Indiana State Square Dance Convention October 19, 20 and 21, 2012 at the Marriott East in Indianapolis. Nick Hartley was the featured caller for the President's Ball. A special thank you to all the Club Presidents who were honored on Friday evening. We had so much fun calling and dancing. We are looking forward to 2013!

We had a great time and learned a lot at the Jubilee Callers School in Fultondale, Alabama with Ken Ritucci and Wade Driver. Caller School began on Monday, July 23 and finished with a free closing dance for local dancers on Friday, July 27. Everyone at the Birmingham Square Dance Association Friendship Hall was so welcoming. We started the week of school off with a dance called by Ken and Wade on Sunday evening, July 22. Here are a few pictures from the week and the closing dance. A special thanks to Wade and Ken for all of their guidance and the information they provided!
